ABOUT "LEXY"
VIP Connected Entertainment LLC, the largest Caribbean-American Talent Agencyd. VIP was founded in 2007 and is based in New York City. Prior to launching her company, Ms. Brooks was employed by The Vardinoyannis Group of Companies. She also had the pleasure of working with Spitzer Engineering as well. Ms. Brooks enjoyed the challenge of juggling between her commercial real estate job and entertainment. She would say it prepared her for stepping into her own business and has shaped her into a well-rounded businesswoman. After 7 years at her corporate job, Ms. Brooks decided it was time to step out on her own and spread her wings.
Ms. Brooks is a motivational speaker and a true humanitarian. Born on the beautiful and some would say exotic island of Jamaica, she moved to New York City at a very young age. Trying to adjust and adapt to her new home was no easy task for young Lexy, but what her family and everyone who knew her would quickly realize is that she performs at her best when faced with adversities. “I am a passionate and determined person” said Ms. Brooks in a recent interview. “As long as God blesses me with health, and strength nothing is impossible for me to achieve. I have the spirit of wisdom and it does not hurt to use one’s common sense”. Ms. Brooks is a strong advocate for education and she believes that every child no matter their social or economic status MUST be given the tools necessary to prepare them for their future; hence the reason she started her own children’s foundation - Caribbean-Allstar Students also known as Casglobal.org. CASGLOBAL is an essay writing competition that is offered to elementary and secondary school students throughout the Caribbean Islands. She created the program to give inner city school children the opportunity to enhance their academic skills and creative thinking abilities. Winners of the writing competition are awarded various prizes which include, but is not limited, to an all-expense paid trip to a foreign country, cash bonuses, school prizes and many more. In 2017, Ms. Brooks generously donated pencils, books, school supplies and money to over 100 students at Dieppe Bay Primary School on the island of St. Kitts (a school she adopted back in 2008) and donates to them every chance she gets.
